Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools with Crafter’s Companion

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post.

Our next show is in Schaumburg IL on August 16 & 17. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching four “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with new products from our Cool Tools class: Crafter’s Companion‘s Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers.

If you take the Cool Tools class, you will receive the True Blue and Purple Blend markers:

These markers each have three different color shades each: light, mid, and dark:

This allows you to blend from one color to the next so easily.

With the markers, I created this mini card:

First, I created my backround by coloring all six shades onto white cardstock.

Then, I started blending between each shade using the lighter color.

Finally, I used the lightest shade to blend between the two colors.

I chose the Little Fireflies stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn to decorate the background of my card, using the TriBlend Markers to also color my stamped images.

These markers are so fun, I plan on getting more colors to use on my projects!

This Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools workshop in Schaumburgwith Crafter’s Companion‘s Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers will be the last show where we feature this product. We will have a new round of products and projects starting in Edison, NJ.

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Those markers were NOT mentioned or demo at my class in Schaumburg. That would have been nice. No cards were shown it discussed.

Hi Lynnette. We did create a butterfly card in the Cool Tools class with the TriBlend markers. (The Cool Tools class is the only class the markers were featured in.) Maybe you were in one of our other Latest & Greatest classes? We have four different Latest & Greatest classes in all.

The tri blend markers are fun that were in the cool tools class in Schaumburg! I plan on getting lots more! They will compliment my spectrum chameleon marker set!
