Saturdays With LeAnn

With Love

Welcome back to Stamp and Scrapbook Expo’s blog!  I hope each one of you is taking some time to relax and enjoy your weekend.  Since it is cold outside, go grab yourself a cup of coffee, tea, or even a good old mug of hot chocolate.  It is so hard to believe that the holidays have come and gone, but with that said, it is time to begin some fun projects to work on.  I hope you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the inspiration I have to share with you on this beautiful Saturday!

Patchwork Mini Album By Karan Gerber

This fun mini album is a great way of preserving some of your favorite photos and is perfect for any occasion.  Mini albums don’t take that much time to create.  It is an instant enjoyment for you, and especially the one receiving the album.  I have been making more mini albums lately than I have layouts.  It has been a fun change of pace and just what I needed to keep my creativity flowing.  I love to create mini albums because they make such a warm and special gift.  Mini albums always bring a smile to anyone’s face by sharing memories that have so much love and meaning.

Patchwork Mini Album

A mini album is fun to open and flip through with all of the interactive elements, pockets, and dimension.  If you love mini albums as I do, then you are going to love today’s inspiration piece designed by the very talented Karan Gerber.  Let me escort you on over to My Heart On Paper where you will see the fine details of her inside pages.  You will also find a list of materials that Karan used to create this adorable album.  Have fun creating one of your own!

With Love By Betsy Veldman

What’s not to love about this adorable heart card designed by Betsy Veldman?  Not only is this such a perfect card for an anniversary, but also a beautiful Valentines Day card as well.  It is one of those cards you can use anytime to just say “I Love You.”  I love the soft color blending and the flowers tucked into the layers of the hearts.  Betsy really inspires with her design and colors.

When I Tell You I Love You By Diana

Valentine’s Day isn’t too far away, so here is a fun handmade, romantic gift for Valentine’s day or any other special occasion.  This vintage-inspired sign can also add a new piece to your Valentine’s Day decor.  The best part in creating this fun sign is the free printable that you can use.  Find your favorite piece of wood, add your two favorite contrasting colors, and apply your free printable lettering, and you are set to go.  The best part is that you can use this technique on almost any surface.

When I Tell You I Love You

I know you are probably very anxious to get started on this project, so let me take you on over to Dreams Factory where you will find step-by-step instructions from Diana.   Be sure to follow her blog as you will find so many beautiful, vintage projects to create.  You won’t know where to begin or where to stop with her beautiful creations.

Winter Snowflake Cake By Glory Albin

This beautiful cake all starts with Glory’s perfect chocolate cake recipe, delicious cream cheese frosting, and then topped with buttercream frosted cookies.  How much better can this get?  I love the pastel colors that Glory used.  It takes away the winter blues and lets you embrace the cold winter days.  This is a great way to fancy up a cake.  This cake is so yummy, and also very attractive and appealing to your family and friends.

Winter Snowflake Cake

The star of this cake is the large snowflake cookies decorated with buttercream frosting.  I can never turn down a sugar cookie as they are my favorite!  You will enjoy a full tutorial video on how to create this beautiful cake and snowflake cookies.  Be sure to visit Glorious Treats with Glory for more of her wonderful recipes.  She is such an inspiration in the kitchen!  Not only does she have the best desserts, but you will find yourself making many of her other wonderful recipes as well.

I hope I have left you today with a smile on your face and full of wonderful inspiration.  It is always such a blessing for me to be able to share fun and creative projects with you.  Enjoy your weekend and I look forward to seeing you back here soon!

Hugs sent to all,

LeAnn
