I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for some spring weather. Here in Utah it has been extra cold with lots and lots of snow. It is this time of year that we all start to get a little stir crazy staying inside. Let me bring a little spring to you! There is so much more than first meets the eye on this darling layout. I fell in love with the black and grey outlined flowers and the way the Altenew inks add some color. This is a perfect layout for those spring photos, and I thought you might enjoy a nice spring-inspired project.
You will definitely pick up a few new tips and techniques to use on your layouts by following Nathalie’s step-by-step video on how she created this layout. Pear Almond Cake is a perfect show stopper for dinner parties and yet it is easy enough that you can whip it up for a mid-afternoon treat. Your family and friends will love this and will admire your talent in the kitchen. The pears add moisture and a subtle flavor to the cake, and then the almond adds richness and texture.
This is definitely a recipe you will want to keep in your recipe file because you will find yourself making this over and over again.
