Happy New Year Everyone!
That means a new year to reflect on memories from the past and to create all new and exciting memories in 2020.
As you may have already seen, we have announced our new name: “Crafter’s Play Dates” (formerly known as the crop parties). We wanted to make sure that all of our crafting friends can enjoy these events with all the fun and prizes you are used to. You will see that we still have our hourly prizes, grand prizes, and of course my corny jokes and stories. Remember that the more you laugh at the jokes and stories, the better your chances are to walk away with one of our door prizes. I am so excited to be back hosting these events with all of you and sharing all of your memories. The Creation Station and the Creative Pantry will be available on Sunday for you to enjoy.
In some of our locations, we have added a Crafter’s Play Date on Sunday. These locations include Orlando, FL; Irving, TX; Schaumburg, IL; and Ontario, CA. These Sunday Play Dates will be a comfy Pajama crop. Prizes will be given away, but the jokes and stories will be packed away. It is a nice, calm, quiet (but still enjoyable) time to finish the projects that you started on the other Crafter’s Play Dates. It’s also a good time to play with your new stash of goodies you found on the Expo show floor. I am hoping to sneak in a couple of cards or planner pages myself, so don’t tell the boss!
