Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools with We R Memory Keepers

Hey everyone! Roree here with today’s Make It Monday post.

Our next show is in Orlando, FL on May 17 & 18. Stamp & Scrapbook Expo will be teaching five “Latest & Greatest” workshops at this show: Card Making, Cool Tools, Planners, Scrapbooking, and Stamping. Today I am going to be creating with a new product from our Cool Tools class: the We R Memory KeepersPocket Maker Punchboard.

If you take the Cool Tools class, you will receive the Pocket Maker Punchboard:

The punchboard comes with instructions on how to use the tool and a sizing chart that tells you what paper size you need to create each pocket size with or without flaps.

I decided to create a 3 1/4″ square pocket with a notch. I found that size on the sizing chart and cut my paper to 7 x 4″

I placed the paper guides in the D and 2 position as it stated in the chart.

I placed my paper against the guides and trimmed top two corners with the cutting blade.

I folded out the scoring arms and scored the bottom and sides of the paper.

I folded and adhered the side and bottom flaps and notched the top of the pocket with the punch at the top of the tool to finish by pocket.

I added my pocket to the front of an A2 card and decorated it the papers and chipboard from Simple StoriesLife Documented collection.

This Latest & Greatest: Cool Tools workshop featuring the We R Memory KeepersPocket Maker Punchboard will also be taught at our upcoming show in Puyallup, WA. We would love to see you at one of these shows!

I hope you enjoyed today’s Make It! Monday project. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I like colours: dark (vintage) blue with yellow and coral. This pocket is very usefull for small items as money or other things.
