While surfing through some of my favorite blogs I came across this beautiful card designed by Dina Kowal author of the Mama Dini’s Stamperia Blog. Be sure to stop by Mama Dini’s Stamperia Blog and check out her amazing tutorials/videos. You are sure to be inspired.
Dina used Premium Watercolors from Shinhan Art – this gorgeous bright pink is called Opera. Love it – so vivid. Dina also used a fun salt technique to create the mottled effect in the background (Cobalt Green and Greenish Yellow paints used here). Don’t you just love the soft blend of color, what a beautiful background for those amazing flowers. They just seem to pop off the card.
The stamps used are from Impression Obsession: Darling Dahlia, Friends Forever, Riding Pretty Clear Set) The Dahlia stamp is a wood mounted stamp measuring 4 x 4.25 inches. The actual image is approximately .25 inches smaller in both length and width. Think of the possibilities, this is one of those must have stamps to color.
My hope for you is to be fearless when it comes to your creativity, to try new things and most important to have fun!
Thanks for visiting and have a very creative day.
