Season’s Greetings Shaker Card

Have you ever tried making a shaker card?  There are all sorts of ways to do it, this one doesn’t require any special inserts or anything, so this is my preferred method.  Plus, it isn’t as wide/high for mailing.

Teneale Williams made this card with inspiration from  this great card by Claire Daly.  They both live in Australia!  Don’t you love that we can share designs around the world?

The secret to making a window card like this lies in the front frame.  Notice the dark blue frame, it is popped up.  Once you stamp your image on the acetate or window sheet, adhere it to the back side of the frame, then add some double-sided foam tape, like this, all around the frame.  Don’t leave any “holes” or your glitter will leak out!

Pour some glitter on your card base with the stamped image and then adhere your frame on top.  That’s it!

Beautiful, isn’t it?  Are you going to try this now?  I hope so!
