One of my favorite styles is shabby chic. So when I came across the Pink Persimmon blog and saw Cherry Nelson‘s beautiful Thinking of You card, I just had to share! Thank you so much Cherry for allowing us to share such beautiful inspiration.
Cherry is known for her ability to layer such beautiful elements together to create these mini works of art. I love the way she uses subtle pastel colors with her stamps to give her projects that feminine feel. The touches of lace, doilies, and machine stitching really brings a lot of texture and dimension.
I hope this card inspires you to create with different layers on your next project. Go ahead. Combine those items you might not otherwise think of as “going together.” I would love to see what you come out with. Thinking outside of the box is oh so much fun!
