Hello my dear friends, and welcome back to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo blog. What better way to round out your work week than with four amazing projects that I have gathered to share with you? I hope today’s post will give you some great “WOW” inspiration from these fun projects (and also a yummy dessert)! Shall we get started? Kick off those shoes, get comfortable, and relax, because here we go!
Patio Paradise By Missy Whidden
There is so much more than first meets the eye when you look at this gorgeous layout. I was so inspired by the way the artsy background complements the photo. Think of all the possibilities for creating a beautiful background. You all know by now just how much I love creative backgrounds, and a mixed media background is always one of my favorites. The combination of paints, gesso, and glaze really make a gorgeous background. Using Heidi Swapp Lace Paper as a mask really turns this into a beautiful masterpiece.
You will find all kinds of inspiration from Missy Whidden on her blog Little Nugget Creations. Click here and I will be happy to escort you over to her blog where you will find step-by-step instructions on how she put this fabulous layout together. You will also be able to watch how it all comes together in the video she shares. The most important thing is to have fun when creating your background and layouts. Ok, now it’s time to put those creative minds to work! Happy scrappin’ my friends!

This card is adorable and will especially let him know what a hero he is in your life. This masculine card will surely put a huge smile on that special dad, grandfather, brother, or even dear friend. Don’t you just love all the fun sayings in the background?
Come with me over to The Daily Marker to visit one of their fabulous designers, Kathy Racoosin. You will enjoy her many wonderful projects and be filled with much inspiration. The Daily Marker is having a 30 Day Coloring Challenge that started on June 1st. This is a challenge to color something every day, even if it’s for five minutes. You can read more about it by clicking here. I hope you enjoy spending time with those wonderful men in your life, especially on their special day!
