Reverse Embossing Paste Coloring

Welcome back, all my crafty friends, on this beautiful summer day!  Are you ready for some inspiration overload?  I am so excited about the wonderful creativity that has been popping up in our social media feeds each day, and I have some amazing projects to share with you.  I hope you will feel the same inspiration I did as I came upon these outstanding projects.  With that said, sit back, relax, grab a cold drink, and enjoy!

Postcard From Summer By Tina Ollett

What is more beautiful than gorgeous flowers placed perfectly on a layout?  Tina used different sizes of flowers when creating her flower clusters.  She dry brushed them with a little white gesso and added some art stones along with some seashells to give it a beach feel.  You can create a very distinctive layout using various artistic elements just by using the same items and taking them throughout your layout.  Tina certainly created a masterpiece using this technique.  I hope you have been inspired to add a little extra to your projects.

Reverse Embossing Paste Coloring By Catherine Cowles

Embossing pastes are available in a wide array of colors.  However, you can create your own shades and hues by applying white embossing paste.  At first it will look white, but as the paste dries the colors come through in a beautiful, softened tone.  This beautiful technique of reverse embossing paste coloring will give your project a bit of a romantic look.
