Welcome back to Weekly Scrapper. I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas. It is so hard to believe it has come and gone, but with that said, it is time to begin some fun winter projects. I hope today’s post inspires you to begin a fresh new project and maybe even step outside of your comfort zone. Always remember, there are no rules in crafting, just have some fun and create until your heart is content!
If you are having some winter blues then this is the layout to create. The fresh blue and green shades of the collection give a warm, spring feeling. As the new year approaches, it is a good time to commit to pulling out your favorite photos and get them on some beautiful layouts. If you feel overwhelmed by not having past years scrapbooked, not to worry, try focusing on your current photos. I recommend starting with today; then you can work backward to get your older photos into layouts. Before you know it, you will have lots and lots of layouts completed!
This is a lovely design that you can adapt for any occasion. Your eye is drawn to the photo even though there are a lot of beautiful details and dimension to this layout. Kavi is such a great member of the Kaisercraft design team. You will want to pop on over to their blog by clicking here to find many more of Kavi’s sensational projects. You are sure to be inspired by Kavi and will walk away with many ideas to start creating your own layouts.
I hope your Christmas was fantastic! Did you receive some new products to add to your stash of craft supplies? I sure hope you did, because today I am sharing a card that hopefully you could use some of your new products to create. This is your year to shine by creating your own beautiful projects!
Making this card will certainly get your creative juices flowing. You can turn each inspiring card into a mini work of art. Pull out your watercolors and watercolor paper, splatter some watered down craft paint for your stars, and begin to bring your card to life. Let me take you on over to Paper Pursuits where you will see the steps that Barbara used to create this fun card. Barbara always leaves a trail of inspiration behind her! You won’t want to miss visiting her blog to see other wonderful projects she has created.
There is nothing better on a cold winter day than sipping on a cup of hot cocoa and wrapping up in a warm blanket. With that said, why not create a hot cocoa bar that you can use all winter long! Not only you will enjoy it, but what a fun way to be warm and cozy with family and friends as you sit around visiting.
Make your quick and easy hot cocoa sign by using just a few items. Click here and I will take you over to Giggles Galore where Mariah will show you each step in creating a hot cocoa sign. What a fun and cozy winter-themed bar to have all season long.
Before the holidays are totally over, let’s get in one more yummy dessert made with eggnog. You will definitely turn some heads with this Eggnog Eclair Cake. Need a great idea for your New Years Eve party? You will be the hit of the party with this fabulous dessert. Plus, your friends will think it was so complicated to make when it was actually very easy!
You will find that your guests will put down the cookies and candy to grab your yummy Eggnog Eclair Cake. This is one recipe you will definitely add to your yummy and easy dessert recipe collection. Let me take you over to The Girl Who Ate Everything blog so you can write down your recipe and get started. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. Enjoy every bite!
