Saturdays With LeAnn

Happy Birthday

Welcome back to Weekly Scrapper.  I am so excited to share some outstanding projects from a few wonderful and very crafty ladies.  Go grab your favorite drink, sit back, relax, and let’s get started into our creative world of crafting!

Love You Everyday By Jill Keller

If you are one that loves mixed media, then you’ll love the inspiration you will receive today from this beautiful layout.  I totally fell in love with the mixed media influenced background, the subtle textures, and the gorgeous colors that Jill used in her layout.  What a great way to complement her precious photo. For the background, Jill has added lots of watercolor, paste, and stitching mixed in with pretty elements of the collection.  She really draws your eyes into her image.

Love You Everyday

What a beautiful way to preserve a special photo!  Jill also gives a perfect example of how to include the mixed media style without overpowering her precious photo.  I just love all the beautiful layering that Jill also achieved.  She really has the skills and techniques to give her layout a pop.  Her layout is a piece of art that is all about texture, techniqu,e and a great imagination.  A big shout out to Jill for an outstanding job on this layout!  I am sure you are curious about what products she used, so click here and I will take you on over to Pretty Little Studio where you can write them all down.  While you are there be sure to check out her other fabulous projects.  You are going to be so inspired!

Happy Birthday By Amy Sheffer

Giving money to someone special can be a great present, but wrapping it inside an adorable money holder birthday card makes it even better!  I don’t know about you, but there are so many times when I run out of gift ideas for what to get others, or I have those hard to shop for people on my list.  Sometimes it just works out to give them some cold hard cash.  Here is a fun trifold money holder card project that I think you will enjoy!

Happy Birthday

Amy used bright colors, fun patterns, and gift shaker elements to give her card some fun appeal.  Shaker cards are so fun to make and very impressive to receive.

Queen & Company has a new kit called Pretty Presents that is available in stores now.  So with that in mind, create a fun trifold money folder!  Let me escort you over to Queen & Co. where you will see how Amy put together her fun birthday card.  Be sure and see the other designs she made using the same supplies.  Have fun creating!
