Saturdays With LeAnn

Welcome back, all my crafty friends!  Are you ready to sit back, relax, and take in some wonderful inspiration?  Today you will be inspired to scrapbook, create a fun card, whip up something yummy in the kitchen for a wonderful dessert, and last but not least, how about creating a fun fall farmhouse window frame for your home?  This week you are sure to be motivated and inspired by these fabulous designers.

You By Di Garling

My grandchildren hold a great big piece of my heart and I am very sentimental about them.  I came upon this beautiful layout created by Di Garling and I knew this was the perfect layout to create and add photos of my precious granddaughters.  I love how the layering gives the photo somewhere to sit and also frames the image so beautifully.  This is definitely a “WOW” layout!

Many of you know that I have a passion for beautiful backgrounds.  When I discovered this perfect layout, I knew I just had to share the inspiration.  I love the small amount of stenciling on the background, nothing too much, though, to keep a fresh and clean look.  One of my favorite embellishments to work with is chipboard and Di has done a fabulous job using her chipboard.  I want to escort you on over to Di’s Creative Space because I know you will be so inspired by this fabulous lady.  Be sure to look around her blog at her fabulous talent and all of her creations.

Cotton Wreath By Diane Hover

Fall is in the air and the earthy tones in this lovely card are perfect for this time of year.  You can never go wrong with choosing a digital image to create a beautiful card.  The digital image gives you many options to work with; it comes in black and white so you can color it yourself however you choose.  Get your markers and begin turning this cotton wreath into something amazing.  The best yet is that your project will always look beautiful and there will never be a mistake when creating it.  You can turn this into a individual piece that will have it’s own personality and charm.

Who doesn’t love glitter?  Using sticker paper to adhere the Golden Wheat glitter creates a beautiful background.  Diane fussy cut out the image then adhered it to a beautiful die cut and then placed them over the glitter.  Wow, doesn’t that pop out the digital image?  What a fun card to send out to that special person this fall season.  Click here so I can take you over to the Sparkle and Sprinkle blog.  You will find so many wonderful and fun projects created by a fabulous design team.  You won’t want to miss out on their inspiration and techniques.

Fall Leaves Farmhouse Window Frame By Angie Chavez

Looking for fall decorating ideas?  This fun Fall Leaves Farmhouse Window Frame might just be what you are after.  If you enjoyed finger painting as a child, then this is the perfect project for you.  I have to say I love almost any project that is created with a farmhouse style window frame.  This is certainly one of those that I can’t wait to jump in and do.  This fun fall project will certainly add to those fall decorations in your home;  you will not only love creating this, but will be surprised how easy and fast this adorable project will be to complete.

The leaves have an almost watercolor effect with the paste swirled together.  You are probably dying right now on how to create this!  Well, let’s pop on over to the Knick Of Time blog where you will find step-by-step instructions and supplies.  I hope you have a great time creating this fun frame to add some lovely fall decor to your home.

Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce By Stacy Bryce

Today I want to share an easy and quick recipe for Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce.   The salted caramel possibilities are truly endless, especially when you have a no-fail, go-to homemade salted caramel sauce recipe.  This is absolutely delicious!

It’s hard to believe this weekend is our last show of the year here in Ontario, California.  It has been such a fun year and we appreciate each of you who  attended our Expos.  I will continue to keep you inspired each week with many fun and creative projects.  Our blog will keep us connected until our Stamp & Scrapbook Expo shows of 2019  begin.  I look so forward to having you join me each Saturday.  Hope you have a great weekend and a fabulous week ahead.
Lots of hugs,
LeAnn
