Happy Halloween

Halloween already?!  How did October get here so quickly?  And now, not to mention, it is already half over!  My crafty friends, let’s just embrace it because, as many of you know, I absolutely love Halloween!  It is such a fun time of year and the projects are always so fun to create.  This year has definitely zoomed by.  It is hard to believe that after this weekend we have one more show left for the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo show year.  With that said, I will miss seeing you, dear crafty friends.  For the next few months I will have plenty of time to search and find wonderful projects to share with you in the upcoming weeks.  With the weather changing, it is the best time to stay in and create some fun projects.  So sit back, relax, and take in some great inspiration from these fabulous designers.

Happy Halloween By Michele Boyer

Not to worry, you still have plenty of time to create some fun Halloween cards.  With a little help from our crafty friend, Michele, you will be able to crank out several of these darling cards in no time at all.  Michele used the fun rubber stamp Oddball Pumpkin Pile from Stampingbella to create her card.  Don’t you just love their facial expressions?  I hope you will be inspired to pull out markers and begin creating your spooky pumpkin cards.  How fun it will be to put these in the mail and wish a Happy Halloween to your family and friends.

I don’t know about you, but it makes me so happy when I get to do some stamping and inking.  Take time and try a few different coloring techniques and see what you can come up with.  I would like to thank Michele for sharing her fun design with us today.  I hope you will take some time and visit her blog Paper Cuts by Michele.  You are sure to be inspired by her talent and I know you will really enjoy all of her fabulous projects.

Lighted Halloween Sign By Christy James

Don’t you just love it when you have old junk that is laying around your house that you can up-cycle to something fun?  Today’s creative project came from using the backing of an old mirror.  What a great way to create a sign to welcome all of your trick-or-treaters!

Christy James always amazes me with her creative mind and her talent.  I’ll tell you, this lady can turn anything old or useless into a fabulous project that you will absolutely fall in love with!  This is one of those fun and easy projects that will certainly add to your Halloween decorations.  Look around your house and see what you can find to turn into a fun Halloween sign.  I decided to make one for myself and it only took a few things to make it.  Once again, creativity is your best friend.  Let’s pop on over to Confessions Of A Serial Do It Yourselfer so you can see each step that Christy took to make her fun sign.  Be sure and look around her blog for many more fun Halloween ideas.
