Pumpkin Pie Cake

Saturdays-with-LeAnn

Welcome back, my friends, on this lovely and cool fall day.  The weather here in Utah has become chilly, and with days like today I really enjoy staying inside and working on some crafting.  I hope you will be able to spend the day to create some of the things you have on your list.  My hope is that you will be inspired by today’s projects and will enjoy our today’s Weekly Scrapper post.

Stay Wild & Sweet

This adorable layout has multiple photos with an interesting background.  These two things are not always so easy to pull together.  The desired end result is to have your photos take center stage and everything around them should only be there to complement your photos. This layout is a perfect example of just that.  The beautiful background colors really complement the photos, instead of competing for your attention.  You automatically have your eyes drawn to the precious photos and then you take in the rest of the design. This makes for a perfect layout!

Stay Wild & Sweet

This is simply stunning!  The twine accents as well as the embellishment groupings are very tastefully done.  For an easy-to-follow tutorial with a lot of great photos, click here and I will take you over to the Soaring blog where you will be inspired by Jinny Newlin.  Have a fun time crafting!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

This is one of those fun cards you can whip up so quickly.  I know so many of you have a large stash of supplies in your craft room, and I am almost positive you could come up with many fun items to make this Halloween Pumpkin card.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

Pam Bray created this fun card using the Stampers Anonymous Pumpkin Stamp, and the Tim Holtz Halloween Paper Pad.  Don’t you just love the layers, distressing, embellishments and even the spiders?  This fabulous whimsical card with the paper pieced pumpkin is sure to put a smile on someones face.  Besides the smile, you will have a blast creating this one!  Change up the papers, eliminate the spiders, and you can change this into a wonderful fall or Thanksgiving card.  Thank you for sharing your talent with us Pam.  To see more of Pam’s beautiful designs, you can visit her blog Scrapbook Flair.  I hope you have been inspired to put one of your handmade treasures in the mail today!

Thankful

I just love making cards!  Whether they are simple, detailed, any occasion, or seasonal they are just so fun to make.  I think the one thing I love most about cards is taking the time to share the finished product with those who I care about and love.  I often think of how blessed I am in my life to have such great friends and family and so I need to send out more cards as this one created by Debby Hughes.

Thankful

I just love the warm tones Debby uses in her card, along with her beautiful watercoloring details.  Click here and I will escort you on over to Lime Doodle Design where you can find the links to the supplies that Debby used for this fabulous card.  I hope you will be inspired today to pull out your watercolors and begin some beautiful fall projects.  Happy crafting!
