Sundays With Lorraine

Hello my crafty friends, and welcome back to Stamp & Scrapbook Expo’s blog.  Our 2018 season is in full swing and I am on Cloud 9 seeing you all at the shows.  You are some seriously talented paper crafters and it’s always a party when we are able to craft together!  It’s time to sit back. relax, and enjoys today’s creative therapy.

Canvas Off the Page by Nicole Doiron

I hope you are as inspired by this piece of art as I am.  It makes my heart sing when I have to opportunity to use my paper crafting supplies and create a unique decoration for my home.  I totally fell in love with what Nichole created with a blank canvas, various coloring mediums, and some chipboard from Dusty Attic.  Remember the secret to success with your art is to create like no one is watching – just dive in and create what makes your heart happy.  This is a great project to use all those pieces of “this and that’s” that we all seem to collect for just such a project.  Have fun, my crafty friends!

Like the title says “ Always Find Time For The Things That Make You Happy.”  Creating beautiful things is our creative therapy so try not to overthink it, enjoy the process.  Just thinking out loud here, but wouldn’t this make a nice gift for someone special in your life?  Click here and I will be happy to escort you over to the Dusty Attic blog so you can take down some notes and/or order some amazing supplies to add to your stash.

Craftiness = Happiness by Jil Lebel

If you enjoy sending smiles through the mail, then the Girlfriends Collections by Art Impressions is definitely for you.  The Girlfriends by AI are truly a classic collection.  They have been making people smile for many years now and truly are one of my favorite stamp and die collections of all time.

I think you’re going to love the Crafty Girls Stamp Set, it really speaks to the creative side in us.  The images include four crafty friends making cards at the table with their rolling craft totes and titles include “Craftiness = Happiness” “Craft today, do housework tomorrow!” “If you can’t stand the mess, get out of the craft room!” This is a set of four stamps and you can also purchase them individually.  Kudos to you for sharing those smiles one handmade card at a time!
